Terms of Service
Last updated: June 11, 2026
1. What FillSign is
FillSign is a web application that lets you fill out, annotate, and sign PDF documents entirely within your web browser. The core service is free to use and does not require an account.
2. Acceptance of terms
By using FillSign, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use FillSign only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the documents you process and for ensuring you have the right to edit and sign them. Forging signatures or falsifying documents is illegal and strictly prohibited.
4. Electronic signatures
FillSign places a drawn image of your signature onto a PDF. Whether such a signature is legally effective depends on your jurisdiction and the type of document; for regulated documents (e.g. notarized deeds, wills), consult a qualified professional. FillSign does not provide identity verification or audit trails and is not a qualified electronic signature provider.
5. Pro purchases and refunds
An optional Pro upgrade may be offered as a one-time purchase (never a subscription) through our merchant of record, which is the seller of record for the transaction. If Pro doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
FillSign is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Because processing happens in your browser, results can vary with your device and browser version. Always review your downloaded document before relying on it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FillSign and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including losses related to documents you process with it.
8. Intellectual property
The FillSign name, design, and code are the property of the operator. Your documents remain entirely yours — we claim no rights over them and, by design, never possess them.
9. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
